Infrared lamps primarily generate heat. This short-wave heat radiation is emitted with minimum loss which leads to an efficient source of heat.
HALOTHERM
HALOTHERM lamps are short-wave halogen IR lamps (IR-A) which have been especially developed for technical applications. They consist of a tungsten heating coil and a quartz tube.
SICCATHERM and THERATHERM infrared lamps emit most of their radiation in the short-wave infrared range. The lamps with the ruby red bulb crown effectively reduce the visible light.
These special short-wave Halogen infrared lamps (IR-A) have been especially developed for applications like RTP (Rapid Thermal Process) or CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposit) in the semiconductor industry.
